But the men making real music are Argentians. Wow, did they play an impressive game against Serbia and Montenegro? And what depth do they have and what an embarassment of riches, especially with Messi and Tevez coming off the bench, whereas most teams would be constructed around these younsters. But with Riquelme (Jason Cowley’s profile in the Guardian is eminently readable) conducting the symphony, Argentina has already struck a high note. Are they the front runners now?
