As Yedy dissembles, I am inspired to return to blogging.
Watch this video and be amazed. Needless to say, I am very envious of our panchakoti (five crore) Kannada brethren for their good fortune to watch all this live, and be entertained 24-7 by Yedy and Deve Gowda & co.
Since October, Yedy and Deve Gowda seem to have spent all their time in temples all over India, performing special pujas and homas. None of that has made a darn difference, to them or to us. Wait. Yedy, a Lingayat, even had Brahmin priests do Vedic rituals to appease gods. I wonder what all the Lingayat swamis, into whose arms Yedi (before he became Yedy, on the advice of a numerologist) rushed each time he was betrayed, had to say about that!
One always suspected Deve Gowda to be Dhritarastra, but I think he secretly wants to be Bhasmasura. He has succeeded beyond anyone’s wildest imagination, setting fire on all that comes in his path.
Perhaps, as Yedy claims, Gowda (and his sons) even performed maatamantra, black magic. Today, Deccan Herald reports: ‘Traces of black magic being performed were found at the Shikaripur helipad on Wednesday’.
I only ask: what did we do to deserve them? Is there anybody - god, astrologer, priest, performer of black magic - who could get rid of them all?
