Maharaja Yeddy

yeddy.jpeg It is said politics is about symbols. What symbolic message Maharaja Yeddy is sending isn’t clear. The earlier Dharma Yatra has now become Jana Jagruti Yatra (People Awakening Yatra). But what does one awaken with a sword and a megaphone, while being adorned like royalty in a shiny saffron shawl and Mysore Peta?

Shamelessness has no boundaries, it seems!

Yeddy has the audacity to compare himself to Lokanayak Jayaprakash Narayan:

“The way late Jayaprakash Narayan got the support of the people, especially the youth, during the Emergency, BJP has been receiving tumultuous welcome wherever Jana Jagruthi Yathre has visited,” observed former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa.

Funny. His own partymen don’t seem to support Yeddy’s Yatra and reportedly have complained to one and all in Delhi about him not including others. The people of Karnataka are reported to be cursing Yeddy and his bandwagon for creating traffic mayhem.

In the meanwhile, Yeddy and his sword go on a yatra.
