Tutor inc.

OK, we do it all. Transcribe medical audio files, process legal, tax papers, offer tech support and in general, do all that Mexicans won’t do here in your backyard and all that can be done eight thousand miles away.

We also help American kids do their homework and prepare for their exams. Now, officially tutors too are in Bangalore.

Believe me,  reading this WAPO story  was  somewhat weird since I am part of that generation which had to come to grad school in US in order to be part of the global middle class and well, to also get an education. Those were the good old days of pre-Y2K, when none my software engineer friends got hired in Bangalore. They all came to schools like Fitchburg State college or Bowling Green University to do an MS and then found a job here.

That changed in the mid-late 90s, when the insatiable demand for programmers meant every bright engineering student got hired, often by software majors, before (s)he turned twenty. No longer an American education was necessary.

Now, having an Indian math tutor might be a requirement for all the American kids.

    Nice Story , I liked it .
But this might only help for a problem solving sessions incl aiding students in some math problem . Going to back to my school days listening to some of our good teachers in Maths and Science.I dont think this remote tutoring can beat that experience .Well this is an age of innovation who knows what next maybe Video Conferencing lessons could be round the corner.
